The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a new two-node Linux cluster at its Virginia headquarters. The configuration supports centralized information logging, capcity management and distributing severe weather rerouting information -- among other air traffic control applications. The suppliers in this case are Oracle, Red Hat and Dell, using Red Hat's Unbreakable Linux. Product bundles start at about $12,000.
